I also had a problem with the use of abbreviations without a key, I had to go online and Google LUCs, which means large unstained cells. The author is highly educated and sometimes provides too much information and at other times, assumes we know what the abbreviations mean, which I found having to go back often to find the context if I put the book down,It gives new diagnostic methodologies and guides the health care worker to practical approaches to the diagnoses and management of these blood disorders.
